102. Theatre festival Scénická žatva

Scenic harvest (Scénická žatva) is the oldest non-professional theater festival in Europe. “Žatva”, as Slovak theater people familiarly call it, is the culmination of the work of several hundreds, even thousands of theater groups and individuals who participate in successive district, regional and national tours. Scenic Harvest is the ultimate showcase of the work of home ensembles and individuals in all areas of non-professional theater and artistic recitals.
Scénická žatva 2024 is going to take place in Martin, Slovakia at the end of August. The main program of the festival will feature the winners of the national theatre competitions accompanied by 4 foreign guest performances from Czech republic, Lithuania, Portugal and Serbia. A rich off-program set on the Theatre square will be aimed at the families with children during the day and will kick off four afterparties for the actors, directors, dramatists, set designers, theatre critics and visitor in the evenings.
