General Secretary of Culture Action Europe (CAE) Lars Ebert will present this webinar. He will outline the work CAE does lobbying and advocating for arts and culture at a European level, and give an overview of their ongoing project State of Culture and introduce their upcoming annual conference.
More specifically, Lars will then speak about how CAE see the amateur arts in the wider context of all arts and culture and how CAE work is relevant to amateur arts. There will be an opportunity to ask Lars questions.

Lars Ebert is the General Secretary of Culture Action Europe (CAE), the major European network of cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists, academics and policymakers. As the only intersectoral network it brings together members and strategic partners from all areas of culture. Culture Action Europe is the political voice of the cultural sector in Europe, the first port of call for informed opinion and debate about arts and cultural policy.

Lars Ebert he/him
Lars has the overall responsibility for Culture Action Europe. He leads the organisation together with the General Director and develops CAE´s strategy in conversation with the board and the team. With a focus on advocacy, he engages in an ongoing dialogue with sector representatives and policy makers across the EU.
